Ok so to start my challenge to do something new every month I started it tonight and simple but still completed I went to the cinema (movies) but the best bit I sat in the middle it involved hoping down 5 steps and then shifting across about 10 seats but I sat proud as punch right in the middle and watched a film then at the end I backed down a flight of stairs and out chuffed as beans boom

Ok so my name is jamie one of the See no bounds team and my aim is to try as many wheelchair sports and activities as I can and over the next year I am going to go out and get trying. I have up to now played Basketball and play for cardiff celts. I played rugby sevens and made it into the team to play for Wales in the home nations. I have had a go at hand cycling and really enjoyed being out on the road and will soon be taking part in the Taff's challenge (details to follow) but I want to have a go at things outside the box test my strength my abilities and my boundaries. Not so long ago I climbed a climbing wall not a high one but 13 complete pull ups but I did it. And now 8 just want to see what the world has to offer. I will be posting photos videos and write ups onto the see no bounds website so keep an eye on the page to see what I am up to next. Oh and any suggestions are very welcome....

Teenager 'died from toxic shock syndrome caused by using first tampon'
Hey everyone can I please ask you all to read this.. http://ift.tt/1rjg6yX It's very rare but chillingly real. I knew this girl well and loved her dearly she was an amazing young girl with an amazing heart. She was stollen from us way to young and i still feel her loss all the time... but my aim is to share in her families mission to raise awareness of this dreadful killer and if we manage to save one persons life then it is worth all the effort. Tash passed away on Feb the 14th for most it is a night of love and romance for those close to Tash it's a day of remembering. Toxic shock syndrome remember the name. Please take a look at this page I would love to have events world wide to riase awarness get people talking about Toxic Shock Syndrome and lest start saving lives its that easy and here at See No bounds we are spread across the globe so let's work together and make it global. http://ift.tt/1sRYVtx If you would like to know more about how you can help please PM me jamie seenobounds McAnsh And together let's make a start to raising this very important message.

I thought I was alone trying to deal with my demons but now i look around and feel like I am In fact in a crowded room of supporters people to offer advise people who are willing to share things with you tips hints and offer what ever help they can to you with what you need to get started.... http://ift.tt/1rZjzGi It is said "A week is a long time in politics". Well prosthesis goes and does it better in Sweden. Just 2 days ago we published an article about myoelectric arms as the future generation of arms for future generations of amputees, and yesterday we brought an article about the 3D printing of a child's arm. But today we bring a first to our group of amputee peers. We bring a combination of Osseointegration, biological muscle and implanted nerve control. This of course is in the most complex of limbs, the Arm, the Elbow and the Hand. The future. Gordon McFadden Handcycling in the UK.

Helen's evil side reared it's ugly head!! I sat in my van as I was leaving the doctor's office and another man in a wheelchair van, parked right directly centered on the striped lines where you're not supposed to park. Thus, making the two handicapped spots on either side now useless to others. I watched him open his lift and roll out and then asked if I could speak to him. He came over (in his late 60's??) and I WENT OFF!! I said' do you see that you've parked on the striped lines?" He said "yes, I do that all the time so that my ramp comes down on even pavement." I said, "do you realize that you could very easily park IN the proper handicappped spot and still land on even ground on the stripes?" He didn't understand what I was trying to explain to him. So I continued on and said" Do you know by parking on those stripes people like me AND you can't use either one of the handicapped spots now for our wheelchair lifts to deploy?" "How am I supposed to let my eight foot ramp out of my van now?" he went on about his ramp needing to line up with the stripped lines blah, blah, blah.... He asked me if I needed to park there to use the lines. I said "No, I'm leaving but, what if someone else comes along and needs to park in a spot? They can't?" "what do you want me to do lady?" Me: "move your van over just one little spot so that the stripped lines are available for someone else to use the other spot!" he huffed and he puffed and under his breathe said "fuck you lady but I'll move it!" I said "good! Your handicapped too! Stop and think sometimes about other people!!" Then I left, I saw him come rolling back out of his van and he didn't move it. So, me in my spiteful mood, callled the cops on him!! I hope he got a ticket! I wasn't able to go back in time to see. But a HANDICAPPED PERSON IN AN ACCESSIBLE VAN WITH A RAMP should know better than to effing park on the damn lines! Ooooo I was hot!! Love catching people in the act. Just wish I had my son with me so I could embarrass him! LOL! Spinal Cord Peer Support USA

LESSON LEARNED! Thought about this one today but yes, being young and blonde once upon a time (still blonde, not young), I was using a knife in my lap to prepare a meal. Hey your lap is the perfect surface for food preparation right? Of course I forgot to have some sort of padding underneath what I was cutting and put a nice hole in my leg!! This was eons ago! Just thought I'd mention it... Don't think anyone is stupid enough to pull that one off but hey, worse things have happend right? One big thing comes to mind... Getting in the car with a drunk driver and being flung out of it as he went off the road and thus, breaking everything from T4 up except one shoulder blade and some neck bones. DOH!! welcome to DHC Chiang Mai
Hello,my name is Kevin Durea,I had a motorbike accident in Australia in 2001 which left me a quad,I was 49 and was a fitness trainer for 33 years,& the surgeon said ,that is what saved my life.Going to Chiang Mai Thailand for a short holiday in 2007,I felt like I had come HOME,so we went to the Thailand Government ,and told them of a plan we had,to build a resort here, that enabled ALL people to be comfortable, the Government people thought it was a great thing for Thailand , so they gave us the OK,to make a long long story short,we have it finished,so now people in wheelchairs can stay here ,go on tours, ride an elephant, & me being a fitness trainer,I have devised many training routines for us wheelchair users ,in the pool,in the gym, riding a hand pedaled bike,to help with fitness, life style,& prevent bed sores!!
