What the biggest issues that you have to face being in a chair..... doctors don't take you seriously. People don't listen to you. People think they no better than you about you anf always assume what you want rather than just asking and the simple things in life are always the hardest things to get sorted. Well that's how it is for me anyway....

Well Here it is my status for the day. Most people know my story and since being in a chair I have had to overcome challenges every day I set myself goals and aims to achieve them and today was no different I set out to climb Pen Y Fan and I am proud that I attchieved my goal.. Truth is I am broken I took my body to the end of it limits and back again but I also had the amazing experience of seeing one of my closest friends complete this unforgettable challenge on crutches and with his situation and the restrictions he has to face I know how hard it was for him well done owian I am proud of you mate. As always my amazing wife was right there with me and i wont deny that with her by my side i am unstoppable my mother in law alway offers me support so thank you to you both love you loads and always will however I did miss Lewis today but as always Tom was right there with me and I know that lewis was gutted he could not be with us but you know you have real friends when you say lets do something crazy and they react with I am in what's the plan. But for the guys at Welsh water and a few extras I have developed alot of respect for, here is a group of people who hardly know me and yet they still turned up and beat their own challenges and nothing pleases me more than when I can witness someone prove that they are better than they think and they can attchieve things they never knew they where capable of well done guys you should be very proud of yourselves as I am of you. But at the start this was something I wanted to do to show myself and other people that if I can climb a mountain there is nothing that can't be done and even though I know I needed help it takes a real strong person to say I can do this will you please help me... I also wanted to show others that with enough will and a good group of mates behind you nothing is impossible. And if this climb is enough to inspire just one person then it will be worth all the pain I am currently in and I would do it all again just for that.... Thank you to everyone who has supported Owian and myself on this challenge and to every single one of you who climbed that mountian today you can all sleep proud tonight well done..

So to get from my car to my house I have to battle over uneven paths cracked paving slabs and debris all over the path from the fallen trees now this ain't to bad except I get to do it in my wheelchair in the pitch darkness amazing really I wonder why I pay my taxes really can't seem to fathom it out. I would contact them and tell them but well after 10 weeks of emails and a formal complaint you would think they would have done something but never mind we will wait till I fall out of my chair oh don't that and didn't even as much as get a sorry from bron afron useless completely useless....

Being in a wheelchair changes your life in ways very different to what is expected. You find out who the people around you are that is important the friends that you realise are true the loved ones you realise are important the people you meet and become instant close friends because you have a strong and common bond and you realise that deep down you are stronger than you think. However when you get hit with a low time it hits you harder than ever you feel useless you feel like you are a burden on those around you you feel like you want to blame someone or something you get angry sad guilty and you feel every emotion known to man and then you find those people around you who don't tell you to stop being stupid or selfish but they give you space they give you time and they just give you a chance and then you come out the other end some how some where and they are still there offering you a helping hand and for the past few weeks it's been me in that place and it's been those around me who I have needed to get me out of it and they know who they are and I hope they know just how greatfull I am for their help support and guidance..... And then just as you get out of your rut and you are winning your way back to the top someone one will come along and deliver a one off act of random kindness that will boost your mood into orbit you realise life is not shit it sucks at times it's hard to deal with but you are lucky and you are privileged this person knows who they are as well and again I wish I could put it into words how much their generosity means to me and what a life changer it will be. I am lucky I am privileged I am a winner. And to anyone who is currently in this rut chin up guys you are not useless you are not a burden those around you there because they want to be and because they understand and love you all you need to do is love them back............

Today I decided to use my off road wheelchair and jump off a skateboard ramp at the park today.. It was well cool. Some kid said to me dude you are crazy and I replied with na you want to see some of the stuff that a few friends of mine get up to that is crazy. Owain Taylor was more worried he would have to tell my wife if I hurt myself lol..

Here is something I seen recently and it 100% on the nail. In the end your life is made up of 2 dates and a dash so get out there and make the most out of the dash. You did not get a say in your first date you will never know when the second date will happen but only you can say weather the dash has meaning. . Enjoy xx
